Materials Donations
Please read carefully about our donation process. If you have a box or bag of items that you can easily carry WITHOUT A SHOPPING CART, you can bring your donation during normal retail hours. If you have multiple boxes of items, please schedule an appointment through our Calendly Link. Please do not leave items outside of our store. Scraplanta is not an alternative for recycling single-use plastics, lightbulbs, batteries, or containers. Please make an appointment with CHaRM or recycle at Your Dekalb Farmers Market.
Retail Walk-In Donation Hours:
Thursdays-Sundays 10am-6pm
At this current time, our donation appointment times and capacity are very limited. We appreciate your patience with us as we grow! When you donate, make sure you acknowledge a staff member and hand off your donation to someone.
Monetary Donations
Atlanta is a vibrant community filled with wonderful artists who just need more access to affordable art supplies and classes. Scraplanta Creative Reuse is proud to be a 501(c)3 non-profit that accepts monetary donations to help fund our mission and operations. Through your donation, we can make art more accessible and sustainable to Metro Atlanta Creatives.
For donation inquiries, please email Sarah at sarah@Scraplanta.org.
Deciding What to Donate to Scraplanta
Although our Periodic Table is rather exhaustive, sometimes there are random things that you wonder if Scraplanta will accept. Here is a mental flow chart to consider.
The Periodic Table of Creative Reuse is a visual example of the types of materials that Scraplanta Creative Reuse will accept. We hope this can be used as an example to inspire others to repurpose these materials. Our table was inspired by ReCraft's Periodic Table of Reuse.
